Radical Vexed Variant Bowling Ball

More grip. More flash. More Power at the Pins.

Take your heavy-oil game to the next level with the new evolution of the Vexed series, the Radical Vexed Variant Bowling Ball. The Vexed Variant combines a modernized asymmetric core with Radical’s advanced HK22C+ Solid Reactive coverstock designed to provide stronger overall hook, earlier traction and continuous motion through the pins.

It’s a bowling ball you pre-order. It will be shipped on the release date.
Release Date: October 22, 2026

Building on the success of the original Vexed, the Variant retains the signature 3-to-1 differential ratio that helped define the series while increasing total differential for more flare potential and overall performance.

The Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core has a 15 lb RG of 2.490, a differential of.045 and an intermediate differential of.015. This high performance solid reactive bowling ball gives the traction and continuation bowlers need when bowling on heavier oil patterns.

For those seeking a strong ball for attacking heavy oil, an aggressive asymmetric solid reactive or a reliable step up from the original Vexed, the Radical Vexed Variant offers more overall motion without losing the predictable qualities that made the Vexed line so successful.

Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core – Enhanced Flare & Steady Motion

The Radical Vexed Variant is based on the Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core, an upgraded version of the Vexed core designed to improve the performance potential of the original Vexed core.

Radical kept the Vexed series-defining 3:1 ratio between total and intermediate differential.

The updated core, with an RG of 2.490, differential of 0.045 and intermediate differential of 0.015 at 15 lbs, will offer more flare potential while still delivering the consistent, continuous motion bowlers have come to expect.

The low RG helps the ball build rotation efficiently, while the increased differential supports additional track flare and more hook potential overall.

The asymmetric construction gives drilling versatility and helps to give a defined response through the breakpoint.

The Vexed Variant is designed for a powerful, sustained shape that carries through the pins, rather than a backend reaction that is too sharp.

Vexed Variant is a compelling combination of core strength and control for those who want an asymmetric ball with more flare potential and predictable hook.

HK22C+ Solid Reactive Coverstock – More Grip, Earlier Stronger Hook

Radical Vexed Variant has a big performance upgrade with the HK22C+ Solid Reactive coverstock.

The HK22C+ Solid coverstock is built for more traction on heavier oil. This will allow the ball to read the lane earlier and produce more total hook than the original Vexed.

Radical's research and development testing showed the Vexed Variant to have a consistently greater overall reaction than its predecessor.

This added traction gives a more consistent reaction to bowlers when oil volume makes it hard to control weaker or cleaner bowling balls.

The new Vexed Variant core and the Solid Reactive HK22C+ coverstock provide a strong start with early traction, more hook potential and continuous motion.

The Vexed Variant is designed to deliver if you are a bowler looking for a solid reactive bowling ball for heavy oil with strong mid-lane traction.
